Work Load Management

Load management is a key risk factor for injury- whether you play active sports, or you are a recreational athlete or just someone who trains intensely for personal fitness. Whatever be your objective, but the key output of your training program is to improve fitness and eventually improve performance.  However, a poorly managed program can lead to unnecessary extra load which may or may not improve performance, but has potential to cause injury. Thus it is critical to balance the external load with your tissue capacity.

This aspect becomes even more important when it comes to professional athletes. Their the overall aim of proper load management is to build training, competition and other loads to maximise performance whilst also reducing the risk of injury. Different sports will have different load-injury equation. One size fits all principle does not work and it should be recommended on an individual basis.

Improving ADL

Our first and foremost objective, especially for people resuming fitness after years, is to help them with a fitness regime that keeps them pain free and help them perform their Activities of Daily Life (ADL) better. We believe in smart work and effective results vis a vis hours of sweating out with no  results. Fitness is a marathon and not a sprint and thus our program does not encourage a sedentary lifestyle post one hour of training with us.

Injury Prevention Performance Enhancement

We consider all our clients as athletes and thus the principle of performance enhancement and injury prevention is for one and all. The benchmark for each individual might differ- but our objective is to make them a better version of themselves. However, along with active work, we focus on an even more active recovery program. This aspect ensure we prevent injury in the long run.
